Step 2: Review Activity - SOH CAH TOA, Area of a Triangle and the Pythagorean Theorem
In Middle School you were taught how to find the area of a triangle. As you moved into Geometry you used right triangle trigonometry to solve a right triangle. You used Pythagorean theorem to find missing sides. What do you remember? Time to fill in the holes. You will be watching videos on these concepts. You and your partner will need to watch the videos and create an activity that a group of up 4 people could use to review these concepts. What kind of activities would be good to review these concepts? Do you need multiple mini activities or can you incorporate all of these concepts into one large activity?
Your activity should help your classmates find the area of a triangle using the basic formula. You can also have them find a side or height if given an area.

Your activity should help your classmates find the missing sides of a right triangle. All answers should be left as radicals in simplified form.
|
Your activity should help your classmates find the missing sides of a right triangle. You will need to use all three trig functions, sine, cosine and tangent. You may round side lengths to the nearest tenth.
|
Create an activity to help your classmates review the topics above.
